Senior Chemical Engineer

ROLE – Senior Chemical Engineer  SALARY - £35,000- £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) TYPE – Permanent LOCATION – Gloucestershire My client designs and manufactures specialist equipment for process industries. They are looking for a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis. The Senior Chemical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Strong Design skills with the ability to design new processes Ideally be Degree qualified in a Chemical discipline Knowledge of pipes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar fluid equipment would be beneficial Strong Project Management skills Understands 2D and 3D CAD Excellent problem-solving skills Proven ability to take a leadership role and motivate others Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team  Responsibilities include: Solving problems and improving engineering processes Being involved in designing, implementing and overseeing project plans  Liaising with other departments to manage such projects Ensuring quality and H&S standards are met Running trials and experiments in an R&D environment Design equipment layouts Maintaining technical documentation as required Keeping up to date with reports and developments in inorganic chemistry Pushing for constant progression for product development and manufacturing techniques  If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
