As a Principal Data Engineer, you'll lead teams to design and implement large-scale data solutions. From stream and batch processing to product development, your expertise will be key in delivering results across the public and private sectors!
The ideal Principal Data Engineer will have:
- Python or Java, and experience with Spark or Py-Spark. You are adept at building robust Data/ETL pipelines and comfortable with SQL databases.
- AWS (knowledge of Azure or GCP is also acceptable), and
- Cloud-based data services like EMR, Glue, RedShift, and Kinesis.
- Familiarity with Big Data or Machine Learning technologies is a plus.
- You'll have experience leading truly agile teams and driving Data Engineering strategy
The package:
• Salary: Up to £80,000
• 10% bonus + 11% pension
