Design Engineer (AutoCAD) Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Cardiff Hours: 8:30am- 5pm, Monday - Thursday, Friday: 8.30 - 1.00pm Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 p.a. depending on experience + excellent company benefits My client is currently recruiting for a a Design Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis. My client is a manufacturer of bespoke, electro-mechanical, industrial products. They are a well-established organisation, supplying their products to a number of industries. They have an excellent reputation in their field. The role Joining a team of 4, the Design Engineer will be responsible for taking briefs from clients and the sales team to put together bespoke designs for electro-mechanical products using 2D AutoCAD. You will also liaise with the production team regarding designs. Experience/ Skills Required Proficient using AutoCAD software Previous experience/knowledge of electro-mechanical design would be advantageous Good communication skills High level of attention to detail This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation, with an excellent reputation in their field.
