Power Platform Engineer UK Wide- Hybrid role We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform SME who will lead the development, evolution, and roadmap management of Power Platform services. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Delivery teams to ensure the seamless operation and sustainability of the platform, while serving as the key escalation point for support issues and governance. As the lead in introducing and driving Power Platform adoption within the Society, you will have the unique opportunity to shape its strategic direction as usage expands. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging Power Platform to deliver impactful, innovative solutions, while guiding its growth across the organisation. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be quarterly in Swindon. What you’ll be doing As a Service Lead, you will take charge of Power Platform operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and acting as the go-to expert on platform design, licensing, and governance. You will manage service updates, ensuring seamless rollouts while minimising disruptions. As the escalation point for major platform incidents, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly resolve issues, maintaining high platform performance and reliability. Your leadership will drive low-code development initiatives, automating governance processes, customising the CoE Starter Kit, and optimising the platform for scalability, security, and business continuity. You will be responsible for monitoring usage, managing Admin Centre and Azure configurations, and leading key projects to support delivery teams. Building trusted relationships with stakeholders, you will foster Power Platform adoption and guide the organisation in leveraging technology for business growth. You will also lead workshops, mentor junior team members, and create best-practice documentation, ensuring consistency and efficiency. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience designing and implementing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate. Extensive experience in Power Platform at an enterprise level, managing its evolution. Experience in customising or managing Power Platform's CoE Starter Kit and developing governance frameworks. Strong IT background with 3rd line support experience, ideally focused on cloud services. Deep knowledge of governance, security, and compliance within Power Platform and Microsoft 365. Solid understanding of service delivery across Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange). Proficient in Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell for automation and operations. Familiar with application lifecycle management (ALM), including version control, deployment, and platform monitoring. Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure certification. ITIL, Agile/Scrum experience or certification. Knowledge of GUI design, Azure technologies (Logic Apps, Functions), Power BI, ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira is a plus.
