Mechanical Design Engineer

I am on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join my client based in Dungannon. You will join the highly successful, growing manufacturing company as a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on various projects, new design concepts, and releases. Duties and Responsibilities: Take ownership and deliver on a range of projects Innovate design solutions for NPI, service fixes, and product improvements Ensure that product and system design meet all legislation, customer requirements, and budget Take system, structural, and functional requirements from the product team specification and deliver the required detailed solution. Prototype build support and testing Design detailing, accurate BOM compilation, and drawing release Coordinate with other parts of the engineering team Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities Adhere to company policies regarding statutory obligations and H&S requirements. Failure investigation and analysis, including introduction of containment and countermeasures. Essential Criteria: Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or similar discipline A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/ heavy manufacturing setting A strong passion for engineering and a desire to be hands-on Experience with 3D CAD system operation Effective communication skills, oral and written What's in it for you?
