Job Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Oldham
Shift: Days Only
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 Per Annum
Metalis is working in partnership with a market leading supplier of bespoke pre-fabricated steel and mechanical products in Oldham who are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
Working to a maintenance schedule and implementing computerised maintenance scheduling software
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical equipment
Identify faults, diagnose and repair on standalone machinery
Perform preventative maintenance
Work closely with the production team to minimise downtime and optimise production output
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure that all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards
Fault finding and diagnostic duties
Some manual work
Job Requirements:
Ideally apprentice trained or qualified with an NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Excellent communication skills
Electrical knowledge would a distinct advantage
Salary & Shift:
Day shift, Monday to Friday
7am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 7.30am-3.30pm
40,000 - 50,000 Per Annum
