Senior Frontend Engineers

Ocho are delighted to partner with a leading global financial services organisation that is expanding its well-established tech hub in Belfast. They are currently seeking to recruit a talented Front End Software Engineers at either the Senior or Principal level to join their dynamic team. About the Role: As a Front End Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the FinTech space. Youll be involved in designing and developing user interfaces using modern technologies such as React and TypeScript. Additionally, youll gain full-stack exposure, including some work with Java, contributing to a seamless and intuitive user experience across financial platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and related UI architecture tooling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver robust and user-friendly software solutions. Participate in full-stack development, including integrating front-end interfaces with Java-based back-end services. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within the team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply them to enhance the product's performance and user experience. What's in it for You? Qualifications: Extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React and TypeScript. Strong understanding of UI architecture and design principles.
