Mechanical Engineer

Position Mechanical engineer Client I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the team and require the successful candidate to be mechanically bias. Package Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 Shift: 4 on 4 off – days and nights Location: Grimsby Role * Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment. * To undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests. * To conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required. * To prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production output. * Undertake On call duties as & when required by Engineering rota. Requirements/Experience * Must be a time-served Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing /engineering . * Experience ideally gained over a period of 3+ years in FMCG and/or GMP environment * A sound technical background with the ability to manage tasks using a lateral, methodical approach, matched by a demonstrable flair for fault-finding and rectification * Health and Safety knowledge If this position sounds as if it could be of interest, then please apply here and Jamie Lunn from D R Newitt will be in contact to discuss further
