Nyetimber is a pioneering luxury brand and multiple award-winning English sparkling wine producer. Our story is one of many firsts; we were the first to pioneer the now-established style of English sparkling wine; we were the first to grow the renowned grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in England exclusively for producing sparkling wine; and the estate where our vines were first planted, was first mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 by its then Anglo-Saxon name “Nyetimbraha”.

You will be responsible for creating world class design assets through every brand touchpoint. Using innovative and creative thinking, you can take written or spoken ideas from conception through to execution and delivery. Your creativity, dedication and work ethic provide you with the natural ability to deliver exquisite creative design for Nyetimber brand assets.


Responsibilities:


  • To work closely with the CEO and Head of Brand to interpret and deliver the brand’s vision and visual identity by developing inspirational graphic concepts and brand assets.
  • To conceptualise and design requested assets to support the brand development including: packaging, POS, limited editions, merchandising items, window displays, in-store activations, bespoke branded spaces, pop-ups, printed collaterals, product packaging, promotions, outdoor media, advertising, direct mail, internal collaterals, presentations and other print material.
  • To work closely with the CEO and Head of Brand to continually improve the brand’s home design elements, proving design guidance and support for all interior design projects.
  • To design, layout and format marketing and communications materials across the organisation.
  • Maintaining the highest standards in graphic design and producing cutting edge creative content, that accurately represents the expectations of the business.
  • To provide guidance to the digital designer to ensure all digital creatives are aligned with the overall seasonal design campaigns.
  • To lead and manage autonomously your projects, liaising with multiple stakeholders and external parties where relevant, defining timelines that meet the deadlines assigned, briefing external parties (where relevant) and providing timely updates on progress made.
  • Continuously brainstorming new innovative, creative concepts and designs that will drive the brand’s continued development and pioneering approach.
  • Maintaining an advanced knowledge of software used for creating graphic designs and trends within design.
  • Development and maintenance of visual guidelines.
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Sales team to uphold brand standards between website, social, digital, and marketing graphics.
  • Works closely with photographers, product agencies and illustrators, providing suggestions as and when needed, as well as managing and supervising them when project leader.
  • Ensures compliance with design, brand, legal and/or accessibility standards/requirements, as required.
  • Undertake such other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role and any other reasonable management request.


Qualifications and Experience:


Essential Skills

  • Excellent innovative and creative design skills.
  • Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity.
  • Understanding of commercial and marketing principles.
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, broad thinking and able to offer a variety of design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Works collaboratively with others to produce innovative solutions.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, including proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Eye for typography, composition, layout, colour, textures, materials, high quality production with pixel-level of attention to detail.
  • Fully competent in Adobe Creatives suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat as well as Excel.


Essential Experience:

  • Experience as an in-house graphic designer in a creative department or design firm.
  • Experience of creating concepts and executing a wide range of creative projects.
  • Experience in management of artwork and its production from end to end.
  • Experience in a luxury background.
  • Experience in spatial awareness and interior design.


Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of working in a high-profile luxury SME.
  • Experience of working within the premium drinks industry.


Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in Graphic and/or Creative Design.
  • Background in branding and experience in Digital / Web Design / UX & UI Design.
