Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer - 6-12 months Contract Location:Coventry, UK Core Hours: 08:00-16:35 (Mon – Thu) 08:00-15:10 (Fri) Vacancy Type: Full-time, Contract (6-12 months), On-site.  Salary: £35 per hour. The Role: As the Suppleir Quality Engineer, you will be working with the Quality Team, the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will have extensive supplier development experience within the defence sector or similar and relevant environment. The role is demanding and includes a significant element of supplier development and improvement activity within the supply chain. You willndertake supplier audits and report on Key Performance Indicators through and performance of product quality. You will review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunitiess. You will ssist in the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks. The Candidate: As the successsful candidate for the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will have the following: Knowledge and experience of coaching and developing internal and external stakeholders in Quality Assurance Tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, First Article Inspection Reports and Part Submission Warrants. Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001: Strong knowledge and experience of supplier development techniques Please apply today to be considered
