Unified Comms Support Engineer

Breedon Group PLC is a leading construction materials company in the UK, Ireland, and the US. We are looking for a Unified Comms Support Engineer to help our teams stay connected with our customers. The Role: This is a support-focused role, ideal for someone with 2nd Line IT experience. You’ll be our go-to person for handling phone systems like MS Teams and VOIP Systems solving day-to-day issues, and supporting our teams in their communication needs. Your work will help keep our operations running smoothly and ensure our customers get the best service. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer support and telephony systems, with a focus on enhancing communication capabilities for the business. Key Responsibilities: * User Support: Assist staff with using our phone systems and provide simple training to help them use these tools confidently. * System Monitoring: Keep an eye on our communication systems to make sure they’re working efficiently and fix common issues. * Liaising with Vendors: Work with external service providers to manage equipment and services, resolving more complex problems when needed. * Security & Compliance: Support our IT team to ensure our systems remain secure and up to date. * Documentation: Keep records of system changes and produce short reports to help us improve our communication tools. What We're Looking For: * Experience in IT support, especially with communication tools like VOIP and MS Teams. * Strong customer-focused approach, with good problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills to interact with different teams and external providers.
