Position Overview: As an experienced Site Engineer, you’ll support the Site Agent to ensure projects are well-managed and delivered on time. It is essential that you have a proven background working on civil engineering projects, especially in groundworks, drainage, and building works. Key Responsibilities: Setting out. Conducting initial survey and site investigation work. Implementing strategies discussed with management. Checking design plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Contributing to the management of construction works. Assisting in the re-measurement and valuation of the contract. Supporting new tendering opportunities, surveys, bulk earthworks quantities, and value engineering. Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site. Developing method statements and risk assessments. Supporting the team with additional site engineering duties as required. Background and Experience Required: Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering. Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects. CSCS card and First Aid certificates. Experience in setting out and surveying is essential. Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with prior civil engineering experience. Excellent communication and liaison skills, key to building productive relationships. Flexibility to work in various locations across Scotland as needed. A valid UK driving licence.
