Software Engineer - Trading Systems

We are partnered with a leading digital asset management firm that is revolutionizing the financial industry. Specializing in both cryptocurrency and traditional finance , this firm provides a broad range of services across investment management, trading, and securities. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Golang to develop high-performance, low-latency trading solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact the business's bottom line, driving new features and tools for their next-generation trading platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize cutting-edge trading platform components in Go and Python . Work closely with trading and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. Build new tools and features that drive business performance and operational efficiency. Maintain and enhance the existing platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and robustness. Implement monitoring systems to identify and resolve issues proactively. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and infrastructure. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Go and Python , with experience in other object-oriented languages (e.g., C++, Java). Proven experience building scalable, high-performance systems, ideally in financial or trading platforms. Understanding of Linux , shell scripting , and experience with performance optimization. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Knowledge of the financial industry, particularly crypto or Trad-Fi trading, is a plus. Nice to Have: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Knowledge of timeseries databases , Docker , Kubernetes , and real-time data processing . Passion for financial markets , digital assets , and emerging tech. Unfortunately for this role the company will be unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation.
