CALLING ALL CONTRACT/PERMANENT CNC MACHINISTS! Are you looking for Contract or Permanent CNC Machinist role? Immediate Starts. VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLE AFTER SET TRAINING PERIODS! We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest Defence Organisations and require CNC Milling Setter Operators & CNC Turner Lathe Setter Operators. You will be required to set and operate CNC Machines including: Reading and comprehending engineering drawings to ensure machined parts Setting up and operating CNC Haas Machining Centres or CNC Lathes depending on each individuals experience - retrieving and inputting CNC programs from the network as per the appropriate paperwork. Measuring, examining, and visually inspecting components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres and verniers according to drawing specifications. Comprehensive training provided! These are ongoing contractor OR permanent positions working a 4 day week on fixed day or night shifts. Rates of pay: Umbrella OR the Best Perm rates in the area are available. Umbrella rates Days 37 hours = £24.50 p/hr x 37 hours = £906.50 per week Nights 37 hours = £32.74 p/hr x 37 hours = £1211.38 per week Additional hours at Overtime rates available!
