Shift Engineer

Shift Engineer – Enfield – 50k + Bonus I am recruiting on behalf of a premier provider of critical infrastructure services, committed to delivering excellence in operational reliability and safety. The need is for a Shift Engineer to come and join the already thriving team at the Enfield facility, playing a vital role in the upkeep, maintenance and operations of this critical site Role Overview: The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of critical systems, including UPS, generators, lighting, and Building Management Systems (BMS) on a continental Days & Nights Shift pattern. The teams expertise are essential in ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of this critical site Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on UPS, generators, lighting systems, and BMS. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues as they arise. * Monitor system performance and conduct emergency repairs as necessary. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. * Collaborate with team members to optimize operational efficiency. Qualifications: * Proven experience working with UPS systems, generators, lighting, and BMS. * HV Approved (High Voltage) certification is highly desirable. * Relevant Electrical engineering qualifications via City & Guilds/NVQ * Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. * Previous Shift experience On Offer: * 50k Base Salary * Client paid bonuses * Opportunities for professional development and training including HV,LV & ILM * A supportive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration. * Comprehensive benefits package
