Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

you must come from a CNC Machine shop background Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance engineer, based at their manufacturing unit in Trafford Park. Working 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotating pattern in line with the Flexible Working Scheme. Skills & Experience: ? Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams ? Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels ? Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required ? Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment ? Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team ? Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage ? Knowledge of health and safety principles. Responsibilities: Responsible to the line manager your role will include: ? Providing breakdown cover - mechanical ? Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work ? Identifying and leading improvements to processes ? Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules ? Fault identification ? Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard Education / Qualifications: ? Strong fault finding ability ? BTEC HNC Mechanicall Engineering or equivalent To apply please forward your cv in word format
