Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Innovate and engineer machinery that meets performance, operational, and cost specifications. Oversee the assembly, testing, and refinement of new designs. Customer & Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance design consistency and align with our core philosophies. Quality Assurance: Create top-quality designs and drawings that consider all impacts on the business, from internal teams to end users. Project Management: Manage design projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget. Technical Support: Provide high-level support to customers and team members, assisting with troubleshooting and solutions development. Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth transitions from design to documentation, prototyping, and production. Decision Making: Make informed decisions within company guidelines and communicate them effectively. Travel Opportunities: Travel to customer sites and company locations to support and enhance equipment development. About You: Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in design, particularly in special purpose machine design or manufacturing. Experience with vibratory machinery and sheet metal design is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficient in Autodesk Inventor Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design challenges.
