Control Systems Engineer - WinCC Experience Essential - Permanent - Up to £76,000 per annum - Surrey/London/Hampshire - SC Eligibility Required MERITUS Talent are working with one of the world's leading defence contractors for the recruitment of a security cleared Control Systems Engineer to join their offices in New Malden. Work on cutting-edge technology and capabilities whilst applying Control Systems Engineering techniques in a very specific fashion on strategically important National Defence Programmes. To provide PLC engineering excellence as a member of the Control Systems Software team, delivering software design and development expertise for maritime control and instrumentation systems. Main Responsibilities: Produce technical documentation in accordance with company/customer procedures Specify and design solutions for PLC control systems Develop PLC software from multiple design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts or Pseudo Code Validate software designs through analysis and test Comply with company standards of conduct and all relevant statutory requirements Working on greenfield projects, with experience of the full project lifecycle Skills Required: Design and integration of large scale PLC Control Systems Proven experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems Experience of Fault Tolerant, High Availability and Safety Integrated PLC Solutions Experience of Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline e.g. C&I engineering, Systems engineering Benefits: Salary up to £76,000 Annual bonus scheme (Up to 10%) Enhanced pension (6% matched) Flexible / hybrid working options 25 days holiday + bank holidays Optional 9 day working fortnight
