PCB Design Engineer - Cambridge
Salary: £45k - £65k per year + Excellent Benefits
A PCB Design Engineer is sought to join an established start-up in Cambridge focusing on wireless communication products. They are looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join a skilled team of Electronics Engineers and RF engineers commercialising novel IP. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company going from strength to strength.
The Role
Focusing on PCB layout, the PCB Design Engineer will be responsible for managing day to day task, working on schematic capture, PCB design and modifications, and working with the wider team to ensure projects are progressing in a timely manner. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the component library and will work closely with manufacturers to optimise the cost and tools required.
What’s Required?
For this PCB Design Engineer role, we’re interested in people from a variety of backgrounds, but your experience may include some of the following:
- Extensive experience with the design and development of complex multilayer PCBs
- An understanding of RF layouts and EMI
- Experience with PCB layout (using Altium as a preference)
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and control of BOMs.
- Ability to work closely with the Electronics team as well as the wider business.
