Fire & Security Service Engineer

Job Title: Security Engineer Location: Leicester, Leicestershire Salary: Up to £37,000 basic + overtime and call-out rota Benefits: Company van, power tools provided, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays We are looking for a Security Engineer specializing in the installation, service, and fault finding of intruder alarm systems. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and work on a variety of security projects, primarily in domestic settings. Key Responsibilities: * Install, service, and troubleshoot intruder alarm systems. * Additional duties will include intercom, access control, CCTV, and some fire alarm systems. * Handle domestic projects (80% of the workload), with the remainder in commercial and industrial environments. * Participate in a call-out rota (1 week on, 7 weeks off). All calls are filtered through our tech system, so actual call-outs are very rare. Requirements: * Must be based in Leicestershire. * Experience in intruder alarms and related security systems. * Full UK driving license. * Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. What We Offer: * A competitive salary of up to £37,000 basic, with potential for overtime and additional earnings through the call-out rota. * Company van provided (work use only). * All power tools supplied for the role. * 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. * Work primarily locally in the Leicestershire area, reducing long travel times.
