Workshop Engineer

We are pleased to be recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our international client in the Cardiff area. Job Purpose The primary function is to refurbish equipment to standard suitable for either sale or operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties Refurbish, upgrade and service a wide variety of equipment according to manufacturer's specification Duties to include diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, repairs, testing and packing equipment to ensure that they are protected in transit. Maintain accurate records via worksheets. This will include serial numbers, issues / problems, solutions and replacement parts used. Ensure that all equipment moves are carried out in a suitable manner to protect the equipment whilst adhering to all health and safety requirements. Ensure that the housekeeping in all working areas is maintained to high standard. This includes storage and usage of various chemicals in accordance with COSHH Provide engineering support when required for show set up and site installations To attend all corporate events and training days This is a days regular role, Monday to Friday offering a salary between £24000-£27000 per year DOE.
