Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team based in Cambridge. You will be working on exciting projects within microwave and RF subsystems for space applications, contributing to cutting-edge designs and innovations in the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities as the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Create detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks. Manage and control engineering drawings. Handle engineering change management through the ECN procedures. Review and assess mechanical properties of parts. Required Experience for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer: Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering. Expertise in 2D and 3D modelling using SolidWorks. Proficiency in 3D thermal and stress analysis. Experience of designing sub-systems for the telecoms, defence or aerospace industries.
