Engineering Lecturer

Overview We are seeking an available Engineering Lecturer to join a well known Ashford based educational organisation until the end of the year. The successful candidate will ideally have background in teaching or lecturing and a deep understanding of Engineering, covering fitting & assemblies technology, maintaining & toolmaking technology, including CNC machines. £25.00 to £30.00/hour, holiday accrued, weekly paid, reduced parking and on street parking. Monday to Friday 23-37.5 hours a week. The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case. Responsibilities Ensure inclusive and up-to-date content, lesson planning and scheme of works Delivering Engineering level 2 and 3 (T Level) Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their success in the field. Foster an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students.Qualifications Engineering qualification level 3 or higher. Prior experience in teaching or lecturing, with a focus on inclusive and diverse teaching practices. However if you do not have any teaching experience but have a passion for sharing your knowledge, then this will still be considered. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
