Band Saw Operative/ Semiskilled Engineer We are recruiting for an experienced band saw operative to work for our client who are in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. THE DUTIES OF A BAND SAW OPERATIVE: * Using the saw * Measuring steels correctly and accurately * Working with metals * Marking out * Operating Automatic Saws * Operating Steel Bar Saws. * Read and understand engineering drawings. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS: * Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background * Excellent communication skills THE HOURS: Working on days – Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm Friday 7:30am – 1pm THE PAY: You will earn an hourly rate of £13 to £13.50 an hour depending on experience.
