Geotechnical Engineer Chesterfield £30,000 - £40,000 + Vehicle/Allowance + Healthcare + Holiday + Pension Are you a Geotechnical/Geo environmental engineer looking to take their next step at an exciting company who is growing within the industry? This company focuses within the construction and civil engineering sector providing solutions to challenging projects across the market. In this role you will be doing the inspection of rock faces, slopes and retaining walls. There will be elements of using ropes alongside an experienced rope access supervisor however you will get the chance to get trained by the company on this. There will be visits to current sites to ensure everything is running smoothly and problem solving as well as some marking out work whilst you are there. Using AutoCAD and stope stability software's will be important in this role as well to help develops the companies design and build capabilities. The ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role as well as a related bachelors degree. Practical experience of inspecting rock and soil slopes will also help you hit the ground running in this position. The ability the write reports capably will also be necessary for you to be successful here as well as a clean driving license for some travel that will be required.
