Our client is a successful UK engineering company who manufacture custom control panels and provide a wide range of engineering services to manufacturing, recycling, industrial and logistics companies.
There is now a new requirement for a skilled Industrial Electrical Engineer to join the team.
The Role:
As Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will work on some fantastic projects.
Key tasks will include:
- Control panel installation
- Conveyor system installation
- Wiring/re-wiring recycling centres, factories and other large industrial environments
- Installation of cable containment
- Mount mechanical equipment (e.g., isolators, junction boxes)
- Gland and terminate cables as per schematics
- Earth equipment in accordance with BS7671 standards
- Test electrical installations for function and safety
- Complete and submit required documentation professionally
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements:
- Qualified Engineer/ Electrician
- Min NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience with industrial electrical installations
- Solid knowledge of national working rules, IEE regulations, and safety protocols
- Health and Safety Training (CSCS or ECS) and IPAF certification
- You must be reliable, take initiative, and enjoy being part of a supportive team
- UK driving licence with flexibility to travel
