Client Summary:
A leading manufacturer of specialist fabrications for the Aerospace Industry.

Position Summary:
Quality Inspector - Working as part of a team to ensure company and industry standard within
the manufacture of aerospace fabrications.

Duties to include but not limited to:
Assisting in internal auditing
Technical knowledge & experience within the aerospace sector preferred
Quality Inspection of parts using verniers, micrometres, bore micrometres, height
gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators);
Provide 1st Article Inspection Reports
Working to ISO 9001 and ISO 5001
Non-conformance procedures
Conduct root cause analyses, SPC and other appropriate quality tools and techniques
to ensure that the manufacturing processes meet customer requirements
Check and verify the compliance of components produced at all stages within business

Candidates will have:
Experience in an engineering background
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience in a quality control environment preferred
Experience of Machining / Fabrications and Treatments
Experience in lean tools such as 8D, Kaizen (Continues Improvement) processes
Recent experience in an aerospace environment
