Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer - £45k - £55k + vehicle   Elastic is currently partnered with a growing organisation in the Peterborough area who are seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis due to increased workload. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of complex automation solutions for end clients. Your role will be split between systems development (80%) and commissioning of systems (20%).   Essential experience - PLC programming from scratch minimum 3 years+ - Experience developing code in Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC’s - Experience in HMI development - Full drivers licence - Full right to work in the UK - Experience working on projects in the process automation or machinery industries    Desirable experience - Functional safety system design - Experience integrating flow metres and similar instrumentation If you would like further information or have an interest in making an application for the Controls Engineer vacancy, please contact Lizzie James
