Front-End React Developer

Legado is an enterprise-backed, high-growth technology company, and we’re hiring Front-End React Developer

In this role you will...

• Identify the best technical solutions for business requirements, balancing value with low technical debt.
• Ensure work meets requirements from Agile Stories and Acceptance Criteria, collaborating with the product team.
• Work within the Microsoft Azure DevOps environment.
• Deliver to challenging timescales in two-week sprints.
• Keep up-to-date with software engineering practices and influence the ongoing technical ways of working.
• Create unit tests and advocate for test-driven development and automated testing.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of proven experience developing front-end applications.
• Extensive experience in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Strong experience with integrated systems using REST services and GraphQL.
• Proficient in modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Clear understanding of reactive, functional, and object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and task management/organisational skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a sense of ownership over your work and the work of the team.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of .Net and C# for back-end services.
• Experience with Azure Serverless technologies.
• Experience in software development within banking, financial services, or technology sectors.
• Microsoft certifications.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated capability in developing high-quality front-end solutions.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in contact and communication with different project stakeholders.
