Site Engineer

A global leading construction plant business has a new opportunity for a Site Engineer to join one of their key customers in the Felixstowe docks area. Ideally we would look at someone from the motor trade, agricultural, construction plant or HGV technician industry who is looking for a career change, based in the Felixstowe area. They offer an impressive salary and benefits package with an OTE £40k to £45k in your first year, plus bonuses, Van and door to door payment. As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for: In control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of Construction Plant equipment on site Working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric vehicles Manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately Required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately Requirements of the Site Engineer Level 2 qualified as a minimum, preferably apprentice trained. Experienced Site Engineer, Resident Engineer, Workshop Engineer or field based engineer looking to move into a site based role. Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics), or hydraulics. This will include all engine types Background in Agricultural, Plant, Heavy Industry would give candidates a distinct advantage IT Literate and comfortable using the latest technology In return the Site Engineer will receive an excellent benefits package which includes: Circa £40,000 - £45,000 OTE in year 1 Overtime at time and a half after 45 hours Company Van Door to door payment Bonus scheme plus £500 bonus upon completion of probation 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Fuel card, PPE, and uniform Genuine world class engineering training and support
