CNC Press brake operator.
Rose Recruit LTD are currently seeking a skilled/Experainced Press Brake Operator to join one of our well established clients based in Derby, The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape sheet metal into various components.
You will also be trained up on various other machines such as working on the tube laser cutting machine, the sheet later cutting machine and the waterjet cutting machine, amongst other prep cell team duties.
Duties
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to determine the specifications of the sheet metal components
- Set up and adjust the press brake machine for each job
- Operate the press brake machine to bend and form sheet metal accurately
-Operate other CNC machines such as laser and water jet cutting machines (training provided)
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine and other prep cell CNC machines
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Skills Needed:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery effectively
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
