Maintenance Engineer * Maintenance Engineer * Birmingham * Afternoon Shift (2pm-10pm) * Bespoke product manufacturer (heavily automated) * £42,000 We are working with an established bespoke product manufacturing company based in Birmingham. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £42,000. The Maintenance Engineer needs to possess a strong hands-on background in mechanical and electrical skills directly related to operating in a 24/5 manufacturing environment. Requires considerable working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering within an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities include: * Following planned, preventative maintenance schedules * Reacting quickly to machinery breakdowns * Reading engineering drawings and schematics * Servicing machinery * Mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair * PLC fault finding * Working with other departments to ensure production continues running * Recording all work carried out Qualifications & Experience required: * City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering * Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship How To Apply * Contact: James O’Sullivan * Job reference number: 2210 * If you would like to find out more, simply click apply.
