Data Engineer and Automation Technician

Sovereign Automotive are looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our ever-growing claims team based in Epsom Surrey. Sovereign Automotive are an accident management company that specialise in providing replacement hire vehicles to taxi drivers who have been involved in a non-fault road traffic accident, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service . We are looking for a Data and Automation Technician to join us, reporting into Head of Operations. Responsibilities include managing data, automating business processes, and building reports and dashboards that help the organization make informed decisions. This role involves working closely with various departments to design and implement solutions using SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to improve efficiency, automate tasks, and streamline workflows. Proficiency in SQL for querying, analysing, and managing data. · Experience with a reporting software using a SQL Server and /or Excel foundation (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, SSRS etc.) · Able to work effectively across multiple projects or change activities simultaneously · Attention to detail and a passion for data quality. · Able to balance project and day to day reporting to ensure that deadlines are achieved Familiarity with Power Apps for building custom applications. · Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or VBA. This role is a full time on site based role in Epsom Surrey - KT17 1BD - We have on site parking. Monday to Friday 09.30pm - We can be flexible slightly on the start and finish times.
