Senior Mechanical Engineer (Subject Matter Expert HTMs)

Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of a brand new role to their structure. The post holder will be a key member of the estates and facilities senior management team; with responsibility for Mechanical engineering: Specification, procurement and management of supplier contracts; including monitoring performance and applying contract credits as appropriate. Audits, assurance reviews of the estates associated with Mechanical engineering. You will be a subject matter expert defined as all those works associated with: HTM02 – Medical Gas HTM03 – Ventilation and Heating HTM04 – Water Safety HTM08-02 – Lifts SHTM08-08 – Pressure Systems The ideal candidate: Degree in Engineering, or other estates related subject; and substantial experience as a senior manager within an estates and facilities department; Proven Leadership and staff management skills, demonstrated by experience within a similar role within the healthcare sector; Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing;  Problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
