Role and Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of electrical systems across various commercial properties. Your tasks will include:
Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics of electrical systems. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime. Conduct EICR’s on commercial properties Installing, repairing, and upgrading electrical equipment and components. Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure comprehensive site management. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
A recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair work. City & Guilds Inspection and Testing - 2391 (or equivalent) Familiarity with commercial electrical systems and components. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid Gold Card certification for electrical work.
