Title: Temporary Works Design Engineer
Location: Rugby (Hybrid)
Salary: 45-55,000 + car allowance + package
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Works Design Engineer to join a leading civil engineering main contractor delivering high profile infrastructure and construction projects across the UK.
The Temporary Works Desig Engineer will join an experienced team and will play a critical role in designing and managing temporary works for a range of exciting projects. They will ensure that all temporary works structures are safe, efficient and compliant with industry standards.
They will be a key member of the core team specializing in complex schemes including highways, bridges, tunnels and railway infrastructure projects.
Candidate
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered status or working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE preferred).#
- Proven experience in temporary works design within the civil engineering or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., BS5975).
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
