Proposals Engineer

My client based in Stockton is looking for an experienced Proposals Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, for an organisation that trades on a global scale.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience of working in estimating and/or sales roles, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Developing detailed engineering proposals for clients, including cost estimates, schedules and project plans
• Collaborating with sales and technical teams to understand project requirements
• Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams to fully understand project requirements
• Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns
• Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and submission
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technical advancements
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain necessary quotations and technical data
• Receive and review Purchase Order Requisition from Customers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry standards in all proposals.

Salary: £37-£42k per annum

Hours: Mon-Fri, Day Shift
