Electrical Operations Engineer

Our client is looking for an Electrical Operations Engineer on a permanent basis.    Your role will be to carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on low carbon gas-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, fast response balancing peaking plants and mission-critical standby diesel generation renewable energy solutions. You will ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved by efficiently diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on clients installations, as well as other user’s installations. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: A ONC, NVQ Level II or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or equivalent. Time served technician, preferably with a minimum of 3 years’ industrial electrical experience. Competent electrician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of PLC systems used in gas/diesel engines Hold a full, valid driving licence. Past experience in an Installation Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Engine Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Senior Field Service Technician, or Maintenance Technician based role.    In return the company are offering a salary in the region of £37,000 plus overtime, callout rota plan, 25 days holiday plus local Statutory Holidays, company van, private healthcare, pension and many more benefits.    Please apply today for immediate consideration
