Position Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Salary Up to £50,000 per annum + door to door travel.
Location Southwest of England.
Working Hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Reporting Into Engineering Manager
Tecrec are currently searching for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to work across the Southwest, our client are experts in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrics, plumbing and HVAC controls.
Our client carries out a wide range of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electrical and plumbing services and maintenance on a wide range of properties. These include commercial offices, industrial manufacturing sites, local authority buildings, public and private healthcare facilities.
They also cover government establishments, laboratories, schools and universities, and all types of retail premises, hotels and leisure complexes in Bristol, Southwest England and Wales.
This an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees.
As a Gas Engineer you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance.
Completion of PPM works to schedule in the most proactive and efficient way possible.
Notify issues to the helpdesk seeking advice from the contract manager where possible.
Production of quotes in a thorough way, with thought out and researched methodology including correct parts and labour times required to ensure profitability, cost control and client satisfaction.
Responsible for ensuring effective diagnostic of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment.
Record and document all work carried out and raise appropriate documentation as quotes as required.
Work in accordance with mandatory, health, safety, compliance and environmental requirements.
Liaise with other departments, suppliers and other service providers.
Maintaining site logbooks.
Responsible for compliance and health and safety.
