IVVQ Systems Engineer

The IVVQ Systems Engineer will be responsible for integrating, verifying, validating, and qualifying complex software and hardware systems, specifically within biometric, access control, and security systems for eGates. This role involves end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all components meet stringent security, performance, and operational standards in an airport environment. Responsibilities: Verification & Validation – Requirements mapping and creation. Configuration control management (licensing /updates & upgrades) Integration of hardware and software components for test environments, including peripherals ie cameras, IPCs, PCs, monitoring systems. Testing cabling, networking, and cloud environments. Develop and execute test plans to validate system compliance, including scripting, test material preparation, and defect management. Manage the overall operation and maintenance of test environments, including test and training documentation. Provide onsite support for future System Integration Testing (SIT) and System Acceptance Testing (SAT), including defect resolution. Stakeholder engagement with the client and associated authorities. Lead Release Readiness Reviews (RRRs) and obtain customer signoff for the various testing phases. Conduct ongoing testing and integration activities as per defined test plans. Create and conduct operability testing for the features and functions. Coordination with quality assurance and release teams. Ensure thorough documentation and communication with stakeholders using tools ie MS Project, JIRA and Confluence. Technical Experience: Over 5 years in test and integration roles, with 3-5 years as a test and integration lead. Experience with complex systems involving multiple hardware and software subsystems. Experience in cloud migration and cloud management. Advantage having experience working directly with UK Government clients, such as the UK Home Office. Advantage having experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and PLM systems such as Teamcenter and Doors.
