Engineering Geologist Reference: BY1548 Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 Location: Slough This is a great opportunity for a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or engineering geologist to join a team of ground investigation consultants on a range of exciting projects. The specialist team have carried out over 10,000 investigations over 30 years. Extensive room for career progression and expansion.The Engineering Geologist selected will be: Assisting with site walkovers. Carrying out site/ground investigations. Soil and rock logging. Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies. Writing factual and interpretive reports. Work on in situ testing. Observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental and geotechnical knowledge.This Engineering Geologist position therefore requires applicants to have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geoscience, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable), and some experience in the ground investigation industry. You must be be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills and have an ability show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Slough and the surrounding area, and have a full right to work in the UK.
