Test and Measurement Software Engineer Monday to Friday- 37.Contractor- 12 month basis – please note you will be paid on a weekly basis through Adecco. £Onsite 5 days per week in Ipswich Our client is a global leader in their field, an innovative tech company with a commitment to excellence involved in the development of next generation communication products. We are looking for a software engineer to support & develop applications for test, measurement, data extraction and analysis. The role involves standalone data extraction & analysis tools and test. Your goal will be to build software that serves user needs along with maintaining & updating. existing software applications. Support & develop photonics test and measurement software • Support & develop data & results extraction reports software • Produce clean, efficient code based on project and user requirements • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software & tools • Communicate and build software specifications based on customer requirements. • Provide professional levels of support to end users Graduate or experienced software developer Software languages & development environment skills -C++, C#, Visual Studio Agile software development practices & source version controls Python, Labview, SQL DB design and build Remote control and automation of instrumentation - GPIB, USB, Ethernet, etc 33 days annual leave They offer a supportive and inclusive work culture They are passionate about employee development and provide ample opportunities for career
