Lead Information Security Engineer: £180,000 Bonus

Job title: Information Security Engineer Client: Fintech trading firm Salary: £180,000 Bonus/Benefits Location: London (hybrid) Experience level : 5 years My client are looking to bring on an information Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive security solutions across both cloud and on-premise environments. This role will extend beyond research and understanding; you will also contribute to building a robust vulnerability program that safeguards their environment. It's a broad role in which you will have the opportunity to take ownership over a number of exciting greenfield projects - ultimately, you will have a massive impact on their Cyber Security posture, helping protect an organisation that trades billions of pounds every day. Role: Security architecture for cloud/on prem environments manage and improve the vulnerability management process Develop and optimise threat detection capability. Collaborate with DevOps teams to oversee the implementation and deployment of CI/CD processes Provide guidance to internal teams and mentor juniors. Stakeholder management Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in automation Exposure to devsecops Extensive knowledge of security engineering concepts Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and EDR solutions.
