Maintenance Engineer - Days

We are exclusively working with a FMCG Manufacturer to recruit 2 Maintenance Engineers to join their plant maintenance teams. You will be working 39 hours per week; Monday - Friday. Our Plant operates 24 hours per day, 365 days a year so there may be instances where the needs of the business requires flexibility from you.

Your role

As a Day Engineer your role will be to:

• carry out pro active and reactive maintenance activities across a wide variety of automated production equipment
• carry out improvement projects and installations of new equipment
• work to the principle of do it right first time, focusing on the right fix for long term success
• make suitable recommendations for continuous improvement

Your experience

• • Engineering qualification and or time served
  • Demonstrating an analytical and practical ability to fault find and carry out necessary repairs on a range of equipment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience and or qualification in Lean or CI
  • PLC training or experience (desirable)

Salary for this position is between £35,000 and £40,000 in addition you will be part of the quarterly Plant performance bonus
