Embedded Electronics Engineer Location: Hethel, with a flexible working arrangement (2 days remote, 3 days in-office) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Embedded Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team. This role will involve overseeing the design and development of PCB projects, managing third-party contractors, and ensuring robust hardware design and fault finding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems programming, particularly in C, and a solid understanding of the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: PCB Design Oversight: Manage and review PCB designs provided by third-party contractors to ensure they meet our project requirements and standards. Fault Finding: Identify and resolve hardware issues and faults in prototypes and production units. Hardware Design: Contribute to the design and development of hardware solutions for embedded systems. Embedded Programming: Develop and maintain embedded software in C for various hardware platforms. Prototype Design: Design and refine prototypes to meet specified performance and functionality requirements. Manufacturing Process Understanding: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for production and address any manufacturing-related concerns.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in PCB design, embedded systems development, and hardware troubleshooting. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PCB design tools and techniques. Altium or any other PCB Software Strong programming skills in C for embedded systems. Experience with hardware design and fault diagnosis. Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to electronics. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for interacting with contractors and internal teams.Work Schedule: In-Office: 3 days per week in Hethel. Remote: 2 days per week from home
