EDS Design Engineer

About this position:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a EDS Design Engineer to join leading supplier of wiring harness and associate components for the Automotive industry.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing components and systems to customer demands and according to the companies guidelines and policies.

• Development of solutions to EDS component related package issues in conjunction with EDS Harness Design Engineers
• Support the components team with 3D CAD Designs
• Design and 3D drafting in NX using the Harness Tool.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure ensure component 3D CAD data is updated and aligned with latest designs.

Experience Required:

• Background in Automotive Design
• Strong 3D CAD experience, preferably in NX
• Knowledge and previous experience of working with 3D Harness Routing
• Familiar with Teamcentre
• Ideally some experience with Zuken CR5000 however this is desirable
