Systems Engineer

Job Title: Systems Engineer Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Location: Stokesley Benefits: * Flexible Working * Healthcare scheme * Long service awards * Profit share scheme * Company pension scheme The Company: Theo James Recruitment is partnering with a global leader renowned for their expertise in the research, development, and manufacturing of complex gas sensing products and systems in their search for a Systems Engineer. As a Systems Engineer you will design and innovate across various domains, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC, tackling key projects in a range of industries. Main Responsibilities of a Systems Engineer: * Design systems that meet the customer's requirements ensuring that selected parts are suitable for the life of the system in the environment they will be used. * Maintain regular contact with the customer and complete customer facing design reviews and testing as required. * Create test documentation and complete customer FAT. Travel to site to complete set to work with the customer. * Work with the ILS engineer to produce through life support documentation for internal and external use and liaise with customer support & documentation teams to ensure that suitable training materials are produced. * Consultancy with external suppliers when subcontracting design and build. * Complete on site work including surveys, commissioning and testing. Skills & Experience of a Systems Engineer: * Degree or similar qualification in an engineering discipline. * 3+ year’s experience working as a Systems Engineer or similar. * Experience of hands on prototype building and surrounding processes such as wiring, PLC, HMI etc. * Experience of system design of an end user product. * Experience in a customer facing role with the ability to manage projects
