Electronics Technician

Our client, a leading technology company in Dundee specialising in electronic design, manufacture, and assembly for defence, aviation, and industrial sectors, seeks an experienced electronics technician to join their team. Responsibilities: * Assemble and modify electrical control systems and enclosures. * Install components on backboards: din rails, trunking, and electrical components * Perform high-quality wiring and soldering to industry standards * Interpret complex technical schematics and drawings * Conduct quality assurance inspections, ensuring work meets defence and aviation standards * Prepare finished products for dispatch * Maintain workshop organisation and conduct stock checks * Work on diverse electronic equipment: power supply units, microwave amplifiers, and bespoke products * Collaborate with engineering * Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies Requirements: * Strong background in electrical wiring and electronics assembly * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics * Excellent hand skills and attention to detail This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge electronic systems for global markets.
