The Opportunity This is an exciting time to join one of our largest Block Plants, Callow near Cheddar, Somerset as we are investing in the site through large projects and an expansion of our Engineering team. Through this expansion we now have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our existing team onsite. Onsite youll cover a Monday-Friday rotating shift: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00. Where, youll have a true variation of work from; Projects to Preventive & Reactive works. With the support of the wider engineering team onsite youll seek to improve the engineering capabilities onsite through an improved stores systems to reduce downtime and FMEA on equipment to help improve our predictive maintenance success. Youll have options to develop your career and skills through external training and internal support from the Electrical Engineer, helping you to develop into a Multi-Skilled Engineer. Who you are Youll be a Mechanical Fitter or Engineer, with experience working within industrial environments. Youll already be certified to a Level 2 or higher mechanical qualification. Youll have experience working with Hydraulic equipment. Benefits ??
