Are you an experienced Bridge Design Engineer?

Do you have experience working on railway projects?

  • Salary: £35,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
  • Location: Wimbledon, 3 days per week in the office remainder from home.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of bridge design experience.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, ideally LUSAS, or a similar platform.
  • Familiar with rail design standards.
  • Strong understanding of rail infrastructure standards and project processes.
  • Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Southern SID renewals, from initial structural assessments to the development and completion of design solutions.
  • Conduct structural analysis and modelling, ensuring all work aligns with project standards and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical input and liaising with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project meetings and review processes, addressing technical queries and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

This opportunity offers a highly collaborative environment within a well-regarded team to support on SID renewals. This role is ideal for intermediate engineers up to senior engineers, who bring expertise in structural analysis software like LUSAS or similar platforms.
